One of London's original gastropubs and sister pub to The Clarence Tavern, The Anchor & Hope is an institution in the city's food scene. From 2021/2022 until April 2026, I was responsible for bringing everything happening inside the pub to life across its social channels.
With a daily changing menu, there was always something new to capture. I photographed the food, created and posted content, and made sure followers were kept up to date with everything from daily specials and changing menus to wine offers, seasonal dishes and the pub's outdoor space.
My role was about more than simply posting photos. I worked closely with the team to make sure the social channels reflected the pace, personality and ever-changing nature of the pub, giving people a real reason to come back and see what was happening.
From the specials board to the wine list, the food to the garden, I made sure The Anchor & Hope's audience always knew what was worth coming in for.
